Anete Melece (1983) is a Latvian illustrator and animation filmmaker based in Zürich, Switzerland. She studied visual communication at the Art Academy of Latvia and animation at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Art. Her film ANALYSIS PARALYSIS won Animated Grand Prix at Encounters Short Film & Animation Festival 2016. Also her previous film THE KIOSK (2013) has received numerous awards including Swiss Film Award for the Best Animation Film in 2014.
Jez Stewart is the Curator of Animation at the BFI National Archive, responsible for its collection of British animation history from past to present. He has written and given talks on the subject in publications like the Journal of Film Preservation and Sight & Sound, and places ranging from Beijing to Bradford. He is co-curating the BFI’s programming around British Animation launching in 2018 and researching and writing a book on the subject. He tweets about this and other things via @stewjeez
Matea Milić (Zagreb, 1980) graduated Art History and Slovak Language and Literature at the University of Zagreb. Joined the production company Hulahop, organiser of the World Festival of Animated Film - Animafest Zagreb in 2012. She was in charge of film distribution and audience development activities before becoming Festival Producer in 2015.
