ENCOUNTERS ALUMNI FEATURE IN 2015 BAFTA NOMINATIONS

A stellar line up in this year's 2015 BAFTA Nominations included two animation and one live action short screened in competition at Encounters Festival 2014.

The 2015 BAFTA shortlist were announced on January 9th, and here at Encounters we were delighted to see three films which screened in competition during the 2014 festival nominated for an award.

Films which screened at the 2014 festival featured in the shortlist are:

The Kármán Line -Campbell Beaton, Dawn King, Tiernan Hanby, Oscar Sharp has been nominated for Best British Short 2015

Monkey Love Experiments – Ainslie Henderson, Cam Fraser, Will Anderson has been nominated for British Animation 2015

The Bigger Picture – Chris Hees, Daisy Jacobs, Jennifer Majka has been nominated for British Animation 2015

All British films screened in competition at Encounters Festival are eligible to enter the BAFTA’s.
