FIVE FILMS FROM ENCOUNTERS MAKE OSCAR SHORTLIST

It's that time of year again, when the award season warms up and the Academy Award® nominations are released. Encounters Festival is a UK qualifying festival for some of the top awards in the business including the Academy Awards®, so we're always very keen to see if any Encounters Filmmakers have made the nominations....

Each year the Encounters Festival Grand Prix winners qualify for consideration in the Short Film categories of the Annual Academy Awards®.

The 2015 shortlist features three animations and two live action shorts that were screened in competition at Encounters Festival 2015, details of these are below:
