Marketing Manager – Job description

Salary: £21,000 (pro-rata)
Full time contract (3 month probation, 1 year review)
Core office hours: 9am – 5.30pm (some evenings and weekends particularly during the period of the festival, Good availability and flexibility during the festival delivery month of August is essential)
DEADLINE: Monday 23rd January INTERVIEWS: 1st or 2nd February

Encounters Festival is seeking to recruit a permanent Marketing Professional to manage and deliver all of the marketing activity for the 2017 Festival. Core responsibilities will include developing, managing and coordinating all marketing and promotion for the annual festival, call for entries and other year round activities, alongside managing select events during the festival period. This post will develop, manage and oversee creative, innovative ways of communicating with different audiences, maintaining the Encounters Festival brand across all channels. This position will work collaboratively with the small Festival Team with some supervisor responsibilities for interns and volunteers, and act as Festival ambassador developing the Festival’s profile within regional, national and international networks.

Operations Manager – Job description

The festival is looking for an events professional to manage all elements of the festival programme delivery including; programme administration, pre-selection process, print transport and ticketing and delegate pass systems, submission process, filmmaker communication, rights and permissions and managing screening events throughout the year. This role will work collaboratively with the Marketing Manager, and support the Festival Director in the delivery of the Festival, and the management and development of delivery systems and processes in place.
